Checklist before you complain
- The bank account is in the student’s own name (not a parent’s)
- The account is active and its KYC is complete
- myAadhaar → Bank Seeding Status shows this bank as Active
- The name in Aadhaar, bank and college records is the same
- Your MahaDBT application is approved by the college and department (not “pending at college level”)
- Income and caste certificates uploaded were valid for the academic year
Fix: seed Aadhaar for DBT
- At your bank, ask for the Aadhaar seeding / DBT consent form and tick “receive DBT in this account”.
- Wait 2–5 working days and confirm on myAadhaar → Bank Seeding Status.
- If your bank can’t do it quickly, open an IPPB account at any post office with Aadhaar — it is seeded at opening.
- Log in to MahaDBT and check if the payment is re-processed. Contact your college scholarship desk if the status says “payment failed”.
Only one account gets DBT. If you later seed a different bank for another scheme, your scholarship will go there. See change your DBT bank.
