- Residence proof covering the required years (commonly 10): school leaving/bonafide certificates, ration card, electricity bills, property tax receipts, rent agreements, 7/12
- Identity proof: Aadhaar / PAN / voter ID
- Self-declaration of residence

- Your school leaving certificate showing caste
- Father’s/grandfather’s school leaving certificate or caste certificate
- Proof before the cut-off date (SC 1950 · VJ/NT 1961 · OBC/SBC 1967): old school records, birth/death register extract, 7/12 or 8A, service records
- Affidavit / self-declaration and family tree (vanshaval) if asked
