About this section
This section is for Central Government employees and pensioners, and for anyone who wants to understand how government pay works. It covers the current 7th Pay Commission pay (with DA at 60% from January 2026) and the upcoming 8th Pay Commission, whose report is expected around May 2027.
Every number here comes from Department of Expenditure orders, DoPPW orders or the 8th CPC website, and 8th CPC figures are clearly marked as estimates until the Government announces them.
State Government employees (including Maharashtra) have their own DA and pay rules set by Government Resolutions. Our calculators still work — just enter your own basic pay and DA rate.
